GUITAR TIPS & TRICKS

A fellow member, 'Schmange' has written a number of articles outlining some great guitar techniques, many of which focus on two hand tapping.  We know you'll enjoy these lessons and we collectively thank Schmange for this huge contribution!

Peace & Grooviness...my name is Schmange...
I'm originally from Sheffield, England and I'm currently dividing my time between Cornwall and Toronto, Canada. I've been playing guitar since I was about 18 and have been in tons of bands over the years including Essex, Tokyo (Glass Tiger) and Bitch N' Boys.

Influences along the way have been way too numerous to mention but for sure count Rush, Saga, Supertramp & Van Halen in there. Add in a splash of Partridge Family, a stint in a Beatles cover band and a couple of northern tours & you've got Schmange.

Right now I'm working as a producer for UK Productions and occasionally playing live shows. I do the 'one-man-band' thing using a Macintosh with Cubase sequencing software. Other equipment includes a 1975 Gibson L6S Deluxe, Roland GR808 guitar synth and various keyboards and sound modules.
